My dear family.........
Much has happened lately. Both in School and out.
At school, I find myself very bored most of the time. My classes aren't exactly easy, however, I sometimes catch myself daydreaming or falling asleep. My hardest class to stay awake in is Spanish, (no offense, Lacee). In that class we were learning about the family and the word "live." It's mostly because it's the first class of the day, so I'm still tired.
In GT, I finished history fair. Finally. However, this past week has been very boring because we're just watching other student's documentaries, which is pretty boring to me. I'm still glad that I'm done with my part. In GT English, we're studying short stories, and we read one every day. They're mostly interesting, but there was a random one that pretty much put me to sleep.
I take it back, Lacee. SCIENCE is the hardest class for me to stay awake in. I understand it all, but it's all very boring...but hey, I still have an A.
In percussion everything's the same....we're getting new songs for the next concert. I'm on the the Snare Drum, Bass Drum, and the Vibraphone.
Choir..........man, I'm not sure what to say. Ever since the first day where she had me sing solo in front of the class to test my voice, she makes me feel awkward by always looking at me whenever she refers to the basses. We're singing this one song called "Cindy", with a solo at the beginning. Without warning she told me; "Brigham, I want you to do the solo." I really don't want to, but I don't think I have that much of a choice.............sigh. On the bright side, I made it into A capella!
Algebra- :(
Other than that, I had a Mock Trial Competition last Saturday. It all went pretty well, and our team won.....it was awesome....
Bro. Goats is no longer the scoutmaster.....it is now Bro. Watts. He's okay, and he's pretty nice.
I'm really nervous....I get my braces on tomorrow....'sob!'
Well, not much else has happened other than that....that's a preview of my life!
Love you!

Chuck Norris counted all the grains of sand in the Sahara. Twice.
Hello, Everybody! I'll be sure to remember to post more often. As for my life, I'm pretty happy...
At lakeridge, all is well and same old.
Nothing new in Spanish, although I'm soon switching from A1 to B1. We're WAY behind Lacee's class.
In GT I'm working on the History Fair. Bleagh. It's harder than it sounded. (It sounded hard). The other day I finished reading a simplified version of "The Odyssey." Although it was the type of book I usually don't like, I liked this one. We watched the end of the movie in class, and right when a good guy reached for his sword, Mrs. Hacken turned the TV off, to our dismay. I had to write a report relating my own life to the book. Some people managed to fit it in 300 words. Mine was 1,300 words exactly. Few!
P.E. I'm hanging in there, we went through Basketball, and we're now doing weight lifting.
Percussion- Mrs. Richman is patient, but honest. She kindly said that our Christmas concert was the worst concert she had ever conducted......hmm. She seemed on the verge of tears to tell us so.
Algebra- Bleagh
CTE- Pretty boring, however this class required a job shadow, and I went to Lacee's school to observe.
(Hey, Lacee, remember- "Make Some Noise!!!")
Has anything else exciting happened lately? No. I have yet for anything exciting to happen. Sigh.
Sorry this is short...I guess I'm just looking foreword to Christmas.
Love You!

What do you call a Ute fan with half a brain?-Gifted.
Well, it's been a few months since the last time I posted. I apologize. Man, a lot has happened.
Let's see, where did I leave off? Well, school started in August; which means Jr. High. It's funny to have several different classes now.
A1-Mr. Diaz-Spanish-He is a very big BYU fan and has a good sense of humor. He always has a joke of the day; which is where I got the title for this post. Everyday we play "basketball," where he separates the class into two teams, (usually Utah vs. BYU, Utah State vs. BYU, or Mt. View vs. Orem), and one person from each side goes to the front, and write the answer to a question that Mr. Diaz asks, and whoever writes it down first gives their team a point, and they get to shoot a little mini basketball into a mini hoop, to hopefully get another point. Mr. Diaz plays the cougar growl on his computer whenever BYU gets a point.
A/B2-Mrs. Hacken-GT English/history- Ugh.....well, it's interesting. I find myself really different from the other students. They know stuff and words that I would never even knew existed. For example; the Mafia; I had never heard of the Mafia. They also used a word which meant, according to dad, believing in more than one god; but anyway, it's my favorite class; I get along with everyone pretty well.
A3- Mr. Groves-P.E.- Bleagh.....I've been failing the class really bad. At one point I had a 'i' in there, or incomplete; but just for a day. It went from A to a D, to an i, to a D minus, to a D, and I now have a C. I just fail the tests. Other than that everything's okay...Friday's running day.
A4-Mrs. Richman-Percussion-Well, she's very nice, and the class is pretty easy. Practice, play the music right, don't do terrible at the concert, and you get an A. My first concert was this past week...it wasn't TOO bad....
B1-Free Period!
B3- Mrs. Shirk-Algebra-Bleagh.....not that big of a fan of algebra....but I'm surviving, and it's better than what's coming up next.....
B4-Miss. Stanger-CTE- Well, she is very political, strong opinionated, and always has someone or something to not judge that day. President Obama, President Bush, our parents, some teachers in the school, and that one boxer that lost all his money are some of her favorites. There are about 5 girls in that class that won't stop commenting, which results in more time in the class, which results in more lessons/lectures, which results in less computer time, which is terrible.
Well, not much else has happened. I'm still in scouting, though...and we've had a few trips since the last time I posted...
First, the Uintas hiking, camping, and kayaking. Kayaking is the funnest thing on earth, but it was a terrible trip. The first day, we had to backpack to our campsite; which was terrible. My backpack weighed a bit more than it was supposed to. The second day, which was the worst; we had to carry the kayaks up the mountain to our camp and the lake. We should have listened to Bro. Goats this time. He said it would be wise to bring our water for the 4 mile total hike. We got down there, and got ready to carry the...I'd say about...50lbs kayaks up the mountain. It was terrible. We were extremely dehydrated. Eventually, about half-way through, Me, Collin, and Caleb said a prayer together, and continued our last mile. We were told over walkie-talkie by the adults that we could go ahead and open the lunch box; and there were boxed juices. Everyone chugged them down; and afterwards, someone had a pocket knife, and we cut them open to get the last drops. It wasn't the funnest campout...
And...the 20 mile Mt. Timpanogos hike. The trail starts deep in Provo Canyon, and is about one-twentieth up the mountain. We started hiking. After the first mile we were already exhausted; but we continued hiking. We eventually reached a point where if you looked up, you would see people very nearby, slowly getting further and further away up the mountain on the switchbacks. I swear, there were about 25 sets of switchbacks. Finally we reached the Timpanogos basin and Emerald Lake. After Emerald Lake, and crossing a few snow fields, some of us started to get a bit dizzy because of the altitude. We eventually reached a HUGE hill leading to the "saddle." I started out easy, but slowly got steeper, steeper, and steeper. Eventually for the last few yards, it was about 80 degrees steep. This took us to the "saddle." From here the summit is clearly in view, but we weren't allowed to go up there. We continued down the rest of the trail, which was pretty boring, but was very tiring. The last two miles did not seem to end....but they eventually did.
Well, everything else is going okay. We're working on the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat play for the ward. I play Izicar, one of Joseph's brothers. The play is on Nov. 13/14. The 13th is the dress rehersal, (if I spelled that right), but it's also the play for those who can't make it the next day. Go to http://www.lakeridgeeighthward.blogspot.com to see the dances.
Well, once again I apologize again for being late.
Love you!!!
P.S. How do I upload pictures?

Peep! (Once Again)
Sorry its been a while. What has happened? I hiked squaw peak, one of my hardest hikes ever so far. You start up rock canyon for a good long while, and after crossing 5 bridges, you'll come up to a narrow turn off, which slowly leads up for a good while, to a 3-mile long hill that's like this steep: /. And it was muddy. You gain about 6,000 feet with a trail that has only one zig-zag. However, there were two huge fields, one with grass, and another tons and tons of yellow flowers. It was really pretty. We eventually reached the very top of squaw peak. I was able to call home and say hi. After that, we played with dry ice. Without gloves....but anyway. On the week of the 21st through the 27th, I went to Maple Dell scout camp. The first day, we unpacked, were given a tour, and.........dn dn dnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn............... did our swim checks in the lake. That water was just about 45 degrees. Everyone in my patrol that jumped in, including me, and even those who are really good swimmers, all came up from the water in a huge panic. We had to swim 75yds with any stroke other than the back stroke, then 25yds with the elementary back stroke. I jumped in and came up panicking like crazy. 45 degree lake water had rushed up my nose, and I had swallowed some. Bleagh. After about 10 seconds of doggie-paddling in a panic, I started swimming. I ended up swimming about 7/8ths of the 100, before I practically went crazy. Eventually the lifeguards had to pull me out. Sigh. I didn't pass. So Bro. Goats signed me up for a beginner swimming class. The various days I worked on the Merit Badges I signed up for, along with the beginning swimming class. Eventually after one day of only making it half-way, another of not even trying, finally on Thursday I passed. I couldn't have done it without my friends, though. Derek and Duncan swam along with me, and Hayden, Collin, and Caleb were on shore cheering me on. Even Joey, who is usually very tuff and cold, who nobody even tries to upset, congratulated me back at camp. They're all so awesome. I was also able to finish every Merit Badge I signed up for: Geology, Mammal Study, and.......
ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! Sigh. Maple Dell was so much fun. The next week I got a break. The week after that I went to Timberline. Although me and my church friends were separated, we got together for a campfire where we sang "Star Trecking Across the Universe," which was a huge success.
Well, that's it!

Peep! (again)
Well, lots has happened. First, I graduated from 6th grade, and Elementary School. At the 6th grade graduation, I was on the verge of tears the entire time, especially when a girl sang "For Good" from Wicked...but after that it was fine. The water party was fun. The best part was when we were selecting groups, 15 in each, and everyone gathered where they wanted to be. I went with Mckay to a group of kids including the Oldhams, Ricardo, Rachel, and other "nice but popular" kids. Since there was 20 in the group, Gentry was going around picking people to be in the group. She didn't see me and skipped me. She was having trouble picking the 15th person, and was looking in an entire opposite direction then me. But then Ashlee saw me and said: "15!" Sigh.....
The first week of summer has been good. On Wednesday I went on a 10-mile hike. We started near the bridge that Travis proposed to Lacee. Then we crossed it. I imagined what it must have been like, in the dark, Lacee and Travis dancing.......how romantic. We walked a distance to Bridal Veil falls, which on the way I saw a snake, chipmunk, and I was 1/10 of a mile in front of the rest of the troop. When we reached Bridal Veil Falls, we turned right, walked a bit on that bike trail, then turned left onto a steep, rocky, up-hill trail. We kept going on that for a bit. Brother Goats kept scaring us by saying a huge hill was coming up. But it never came. We eventually crossed Squaw Peak Road, and came to a few forks in the road. Brother Goats seemed sure about which way to go, but...................................................................................................
Okay! Don't blame us! The "Private Property, No Trespassing" sign didn't look up to date. Besides, Bro. Goats told us to go that way. Tsk Tsk.... Well, we kept going down the paved road, until a farmer stopped us. He started to yell at us, and he and Bro. Goats had a little "whoopdidoo." He threatened to take our picture and send it to the sheriff. He also swore a little... then he went on about us messing up the ponds that we never went by.....sigh. We just continued on the sidewalk until we reached the church we parked at. We ran the last 200 yards. It was pretty fun, especially since we went to Panda Express after. It was a lot of fun.
Well, that was yesterday, and I just came in from laying sod on the yard.
Peep! Bye, Bye!

Peep!
Peep! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while... Well, one week ago I went to space camp, which was interesting... our mission was called the Midnight Rescue, and I included a link to the story/mission website. Sorry, it's sort of long...http://www.spacecamputah.org/static/fieldtrips/midnight/briefing/ Just know that I was the engineer, and 90% of the time, red lights were flashing. It was quite intense. In scouts, I finally finished my 1st class merit badge! I was working on it for almost a year, and it's quite a relief to have it finished. I also earned my radio, weather, medicine, and astronomy merit badges. I will soon have my communications as well. I'm just worried about ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, which is a hard one. On Easter Saturday I'll hike squaw peak, and I need to get in shape for another 10 mile hike. The Mount Timpanogos/Emerald Lake hike almost killed me. In school there are four different things going on. 1st, middle ages. I started with level I, then II, then III, and now I'm on IV. I still have V and VI left, though. In P.E, we're working on R.A.D. kids, where we get to S.O.H.O. (scream our heads off), and beat up M.B.B, (Mr. Berry Beckstrand). It's okay, I guess. One funny thing that happened was when Mrs. Franz was explaining a game that we would play, various students would shout out various comments at various times. You could tell Mrs. Franz was becoming frustrated. She kept warning us that it was putting the game off later and later. Eventually Gentry Oldham, (who was making a lot of the comments), raised her hand and said, "Can we hurry and get to the game now?" Mrs. Franz looked at her and said: "Do you want me to explode now or later?" Luckly she didn't. In science, we need to research on a planet or space object, write a paper, and make a movie as if you were traveling to that planet or space object. I knew my luck very well, and I knew that I would get some type of belt. I reached into the hat, and what did I pull out? The Kuiper Belt. YAWN! Today me and Wylee, who also had the Kuiper Belt, made our movie. We kept on messing up, because of a mixture of 3rd and 4th graders making noises, me forgetting that "Hey look! Hayley's Comet!!!" was a real line Wylee had to say, and my F looked like a P on the script. Oops! However, I did have some fun. I told Wylee that it wasn't pronounced KIper belt, but it was pronouced how it was spelled: KUIper belt. Well, in writing we're writing our own stories, and Wylee got up to share his. He included mentioning the Kuiper Belt in it. He said, quote: "We're going to the kUIper belt!" Mrs. Rosen looks up and says: "It's KIper belt." Wylee looked at me, making a, well, whatever that word is, face. That isn't the first time Wylee said something weird while reading something. One day in N.O.V.A, he was reading aloud something about movies and media. He came up to the word obscene, and, quote: "Don't watch violent, inappropriate, or obese movies." Officer Christiansen smiled to himself, but nobody else laughed, sadly because nobody in Westmore Elementery knows what the word "Obese" means. Speaking of writing, that's the fourth thing. Ashlee was starting over on her story, and came up with, I think it was 5 monkies, with the youngest one being name Simon. She started to ask girls in the class if they wanted to be in the story as Simon's sisters, and then she said, to my suprise, "Do you want to be in it?" I practically flew away. Sigh. I told her yes, as long as I wasn't the bad
guy. Well, that's it! I can't thing of anything else, however, I recently found a video when I was researching for my weather merit badge. Watch it: the ones in the red car were being wicked.

Peep!
Well, this week was sort of normal. On Thursday I had chess club, (yay!), and I played agaist two people. The first person's name was Gordon, and every time I moved, he would say something like, "Oooh, you're bringing your queen out," "So now you're building a fence," or "Ooh, a castle!" Every time he moved, he would say things like: "I think I'll move my queen right there," or "Take that!" I had to be somewhere at 4:30, and I was going to leave at 4:15. When 4:30 came, however, he was still taking his sweet little time, (even though he had one pawn and his king against my rook, bishop, and queen). I started to occasionally glance at the clock and sort of dance in my seat, trying to hint, but it came out looking like I had to go to the bathroom. So I checkmated him standing up. I left, and found out that dad wanted me to not go, (because I was recovering from a cold), and came back, to play Mr. Draper, the teacher. I shouldn't have moved that pawn. He broke in with his queen and killed 2 pawns, one rook, and a knight. I eventually had one pawn and my king, and he had two rooks, 5 pawns, and a knight. I kept trying to avoid checkmate, and he let me know I was frustrating him. Eventually he backed me into a corner, and... yeah.
On Friday I had Sports club, and we played crab soccer. However, Mrs. Franz won't let us play a game without doing countless laps around the gym to a song. Before she made us do this, she had us do the "Tony Chestnut," or really "Toe-knee Chest-Nut" (Nut as in head). A few lines of this song were "Toe knee chest nut nose eye love you," "and his sister I-Lean" "I-Lean loves Kneel, and Kneel loves Pat, and Pat loves Bob" "Then there's Russel, and Skip" "This song is silly, but it's hip," etc. The sixth graders got a kick out of it. The second we finished, she yelled: "Jog!" We started, and she put on over the intercom "The Hampster Dance." (Remember that song?) We couldn't get it out of our heads the rest of the day. She then had us get in crab position, gather in the middle of the Gym, and she threw a huge, blown-up ball into the midst of people. I wish I could replay what I saw. I was sort of far away from the very middle where she through it in, but I saw the faces of the people in that area go from laughing, to a smile, to an open mouth, to this with wide eyes, and to a scream as they fell back as the monsterous ball landed on them. We played this for the rest of the time, (with the exception of cleaning every single black mark).
I come home and find Bridger looking very bored in front of the Wii. He tells me he was suffering from "Cabin Fever." We hear Pyper whining, and Bridger tells me she had to go every half hour, but when I come upstairs, I see Pyper on the bench by the window in the living room. (Later, Jasmine comes and says it smells like you know what, in the living room). Oops! Pyper was just lonely, though, so we took her on a walk.
Everything else was normal, with the exception of going to the temple on Saturday. I guess I just need to keep my mind on things like Jr. High, the Science Fair, Linking Verbs, (bleagh), and the Gettysburg Adress. Thanks for making this blogg, Caitlyn!
P.S. Did Abraham Lincoln have to memorize the Gettysburg Adress??
